Chapter 384
The wedding designs are exploding across social media. Every platform is flooded with the viral images.
The shares are multiplying by the minute.
Nathan's brow arched sharply. "Which media outlet leaked these?"
"A verified fashion journalist broke the story first."
"Some people have no boundaries." His eyes turned stormy as his jaw tightened.
"Mr. Blackwood..." Theodore hesitated. "With the wedding setup exposed, could this damage Ms. Carter's reputation?"
"Undoubtedly. That's precisely why she vanished so abruptly. She's usually meticulous about controlling her public image."
Nathan stared at the empty seat Evelyn had occupied, his chest tightening. "If I'm not mistaken, Isabella must have included a confidentiality clause in her contract with Evelyn regarding the wedding details. This leak constitutes a clear violation."
"A contract breach? That serious?"
"With the setup revealed prematurely, Monarch Group has technically violated terms. Even if they don't owe Isabella financial compensation, I guarantee she'll take her wedding elsewhere. Monarch Grand Hotels just lost their star client." Nathan's voice was grave.
All of Evelyn's careful planning had been sabotaged in one fell swoop.
The prestigious Monarch Grand Hotel was suddenly out of the running!
"How?" Theodore gasped. "Ms. Carter is brilliant and detail-oriented. How could she get outmaneuvered like this?"
Nathan's hands balled into fists.
By all rights, as Evelyn's business rival, he should be celebrating Monarch Group's misfortune.
Yet no satisfaction came.
"Track down that journalist. I want to know who authorized this leak and why."
The exposed wedding venue photos became trending news within the hour.
Everyone at the fashion show buzzed about the stunning designs, oblivious to the brewing storm. They gushed over what a dream wedding it would be.
Isabella, however, was livid.
Before the finale, the superstar made a hasty exit, abandoning her front-row seat without even acknowledging Edmund Windsor.
From their vantage point, Isabelle and Cassandra observed everything.
"Vivian works fast." Isabelle's angelic face twisted with malice.
When Isabella stormed out, Isabelle knew her plan had succeeded.
"So you're Fairhaven's princess, Evelyn Carter?" she thought smugly. "So what if you own a jewelry empire? You've been checkmated. Game over."
"Like father, like daughter. Vivian's just as ruthless as Michael Prescott." Cassandra clapped softly. "I'm impressed she got those photos so quickly. Maybe she missed her calling as a spy."
"Cut contact with Vivian immediately. We can't risk any connection back to us." Isabelle rose gracefully. "I've eliminated Evelyn for you, Cassandra. Now it's your turn to secure Isabella's business."
"Relax." Cassandra smirked. "With Isabella furious over the breach, she'll have no choice but to choose Blackwood Hotel now that Monarch Grand is out. There are only two luxury venues in this city worthy of her status."
Her spine straightened with triumph. "And we're the last one standing."
