Chapter 361

After placing her phone on the table, Ady sensed Colson slide beside her.

He draped an arm over her shoulder, admiration sparkling in his voice. "That didn't take long, and you've already torn Nolan and that woman apart.Honey, you're incredible," he said.

Ady lifted her chin, pride shining in her eyes. "Naturally,"she replied.

The only thing she had ever conceded to Reyna was her origins.

Now,who truly held the upper hand?

It was her.

Brodie bounded forward, practically vibrating with excitement. "Mom, Nolan must be crushed. He probably hasn't even considered Grandpa. Can we visit Grandpa again? I'm a Stewart too. I deserve my slice of the inheritance," he exclaimed.

Softness filled Ady's gaze as she looked at Brodie."Of course," she replied. She traced Brodie's cheek gently, protectiveness swelling in her chest. "You're too talented to linger beneath Nolan's shadow. Don't worry. Everything he holds will be yours too."

Ady refused to let Reyna's child outshine hers.

Still, she was more patient than Brodie.

"We can't just storm your grandfather's," Ady said, glancing at Colson. "You need to arrange a proper sit -down with your father. We aren't greedy. Just 5% of the shares for Brodie. That's fair, right? Enough to secure him for life without complications."

Honestly, Ady wasn't satisfied with merely five percent.

But she had to play carefully, one move at a time.

With Nolan faltering, this was their opening.

Overreaching, however, risked provoking Norwood and ruining everything.

Colson nodded thoughtfully.

He didn't expect Norwood to act fairly, yet Brodie was his blood-a true Stewart.

Brodie deserved a portion?

Colson agreed immediately and called Hector. "Maple Cafe tomorrow. I need to discuss something important with Dad regarding Nolan," he instructed.

Hector wasted no time and hurried to the study to deliver the message.

Norwood snorted, dripping with disdain.

What could that useless son possibly demand?

Curiosity flickered as he wondered what Colson was up to.

The following day, a private booth at the Maple Cafe hosted the gathering.

Norwood arrived supported by Hector, spotting Colson,Ady,and Brodie already seated.

He took his seat and cut straight to business. "Spit it out. What's so urgent?"

Colson cleared his throat, feigning humility. "Dad,I admit I was reckless when I was younger and provoked your anger.I accept that. You excluded me, and I bear no resentment. Nolan never received my backing, so his portion went to him. But Brodie is innocent. He's simply caught in my mistakes. We're scraping by overseas with no connections and no foundation-"

Norwood tapped his cane impatiently against the floor. "Get to the point," he snapped. Colson hesitated, cheeks warming, yet persisted. If you grant Brodie 5% of the shares, we'll disappear entirely. No further interference with Nolan."

Norwood barked a harsh laugh, as if hearing a poor joke. "5%? Don't make me laugh."

His cold eyes swept over Colson and Ady with piercing force. "When you picked her, I warned you. You'd receive nothing from the Stewart fortune. That includes Brodie. Did you forget?"

Norwood immediately sensed the meeting's scheme.

With Nolan's breakup, Colson's faction circled like predators.

Colson offered one final appeal. "Dad, Brodie is your grandson too."

But Norwood had already stood, refusing togrant even a glance.

He exited with Hector, leaving no backward glance.

Ady clenched her fists, knuckles whitening as she watched his determined retreat.

What a ruthless old man.

If he valued Nolan so highly, she would ensure the very pride he cherished crumbled. She would reveal just how untouchable Norwood truly was.

Her fingers tapped the phone and she sent a brief, sharp message to Elora.

"Handle it immediately."
