Chapter 416

Nolan was still fuming at Ryland even after getting into the car.

What a ridiculous idea that had been!

Dominance?

Taking charge? Forcing his way through?

Eleanor probably thought he had lost his mind.

The thought made him lower his head. His feet still throbbed from being trampled, and the pain only added fuel to his anger.

Damn Ryland. He would pay for this.

The more Nolan stewed, the more frustrated he became, his head full of excuses to give Eleanor. He had no idea a darker storm was already brewing at the Stewart family's estate.

At the gates, Colson stood beside Ady.

Ady flicked him a knowing glance.

Colson caught on, cleared his throat, and stepped forward, wearing the face of a respectful son. "Please pass a message to my father. Tell him I'm leaving Elepdon soon and came to say goodbye."

The guard dared not brush them off and went in to report.

Inside the study, Norwood let out a sharp snort after hearing the news.

Goodbye?

More likely another excuse to beg for money.

He was curious to see what trick they had prepared this time.

He set down his pen and said flatly, "Let them in."

Colson and Ady entered quickly.

Norwood remained seated in his armchair, eyes half-closed, not sparing them a glance.

Hector, holding a cup of coffee, was about to step forward when several servants suddenly rushed in.

Only then did Norwood open his eyes, his cloudy gaze flashing with menace. "What's the meaning of this?"

Ady dropped all pretenses. She pulled a document from her bag and tossed it onto the desk. "Norwood, let's not waste time. Sign this share transfer agreement, and we'll be gone." Norwood let out a cold laugh. "Why shouldI?"

He snatched the paper, tore it apart without reading, and sneered, "As long as I'm alive, not a single share of the Stewart Group will ever go to you!"

Ady's face hardened.

With a glance, she gave her signal.

The bribed servants lunged forward, pinning Norwood on both sides.

Hector rushed up in alarm. "What do you think you're doing? Let him go!"

But before he could reach them, one servant shoved him violently.

Hector's head struck the desk corner with a sickening thud.

He groaned, collapsed, and blood spread across the carpet.

Norwood trembled with rage. "You... You vile traitors!"

Colson froze in shock at the sudden turn.

He stared at Hector lying in a pool of blood, panic making him stumble back.

Was Hector...Dead? Ady,however,looked unfazed.

She pulled out a second agreement, shoved a pen at Colson, and snapped, "What are you waiting for? Make him sign it!"

Colson saw the ruthless fire in her eyes. His jaw tightened. With no way out, he strode to Norwood, agreement in hand. "I'm sorry,Dad."

Norwood fought back with all the strength left in his frail body, but he was helpless against them.

Colson forced his father's hand, dragging the pen across the paper. The signature sealed the betrayal.

Ady slipped the document into her bag, smugness written all over her face. She grabbed Colson's arm."We're done here. Let's go."

Norwood watched them leave, his chest tight, his vision spinning.

Clutching his heart, he collapsed.

But Ady and Colson never looked back. They walked out without a care.

Ady even smiled in victory.

In her mind, the battle was won. With the shares now in their hands, Nolan didn't stand a chance against her son.
